On October 23, a patriotic awareness event entitled “Егемен ел – еңселі ел” was held at the S. Seifullin Central Library in the Zhetysu Region in commemoration of the Republic of Kazakhstan’s Republic Day, celebrated on October 25.
The event opened with the National Anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Following the introduction of the participants and guests, a video entitled “Республика күні – елдігіміздің айғағы” was presented, highlighting key historical milestones in the country’s journey toward independence and the significance of Republic Day.
Welcoming remarks were delivered by Samal Қанатханқызы Шаяхметова, Director of the S. Seifullin Central Library, and Қуаныш Мүсілімұлы Сайлаубай, Chairman of the Zhetysu Regional Branch of the “Жастар рухы” youth wing. They congratulated those present on the national holiday and emphasized the importance of national unity and independence.
During the event, information was provided on the historical significance of Republic Day, its place in the country’s history, and its role in strengthening national statehood. Таңатар Қасымханұлы Бақыт, a serviceman of Military Unit No. 54380 of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, also delivered a congratulatory address.
The musical programme continued with a performance by Төлеутай Дәрібайұлы Серіков, a teacher at the K. Baiseitov Music College. He congratulated the audience and performed the song “Үш бақытым”, highlighting love for one’s homeland and the importance of national values.
Library staff presented a book exhibition entitled “Республика күні – ел тарихындағы ұлы белес”. The exhibition introduced readers to Kazakhstan’s history, the country’s achievements during the years of independence, and the development of national identity.
Students from the D. Рақышев Boarding School recited poems dedicated to love for the Motherland and their native land. Серік Таир, a third-grade student at Secondary School No. 9 named after С. Мұратбеков, performed the song “Атамекен”.
The event was attended by students and class teachers from Secondary Schools No. 4 and No. 22 in Taldykorgan.
At the conclusion of the event, the special significance of Republic Day in the country’s history was reaffirmed. Participants expressed their wishes for Kazakhstan’s peace and prosperity, unity and harmony among its people, and the continued strength of the nation’s independence.
The patriotic awareness event “Егемен ел – еңселі ел” aimed to foster patriotism among the younger generation, promote national values, and cultivate respect for the history of their homeland.
