1. Independence

2. Objectivity and impartiality
The editorial team aims for honest, accurate and balanced coverage of events. Opinions and assessments published on the Site are separated from the reporting of facts and are attributed. Publishing an official statement of a state body does not mean the editorial team endorses the positions or decisions it contains.
3. Balance of opinion and right of reply
- Where a topic affects the interests of parties, the editorial team gives all affected parties an opportunity to be heard where that is necessary to understand the event.
- A person about whom information has been published may ask the editorial team to publish a reply or a clarification. Such requests are handled under the Corrections Policy.
- The editorial team may decline to publish a reply if it contains false information, insults or is not relevant to the published item, informing the applicant of the reasons for the refusal.

The editorial team relies on official documents, comments from participants in events, expert assessments and other verifiable sources, avoiding the spread of rumours, conjecture and unconfirmed information. 5. Anonymous sources
The editorial team protects the confidentiality of sources where disclosure could harm them or endanger their safety. Information obtained from anonymous sources undergoes additional verification; the decision to publish it is taken by the editor-in-chief or a staff member authorised by them. Anonymity of a source does not remove the editorial team's duty to verify the information by other means.
6. Separation of editorial and advertising content
- Editorial, advertising, partner and sponsored content are kept strictly separate and labelled in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the advertising rules.
- Editorial content is not produced in the interests of advertisers, political organisations or other third parties. Decisions to publish editorial content are taken by the editorial team independently.
