Content of the Site means news items, analytical articles, official statements of state bodies, text of documents, photographs, illustrations, infographics, video segments, audio recordings and other items published at https://www.montenegro.kz/en.
Exclusive rights to content belong to [Specify: Operator] (the “Site owner”) or to its rights holders where a different source is expressly indicated.
Official statements of state bodies are published with a reference to the original source and are used in the manner set by their rights holders.
2. General rules for using content
Content may be used only in the ways set out in these rules. Use means reproduction, distribution, public display, broadcasting and cable transmission, making available to the public, translation, adaptation and any other method provided for by the copyright legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Where written permission to reproduce an item in full has been granted, the reproduction must be accurate. Changes that distort the meaning of the item are not permitted.
Responsibility for distorting the meaning of an item through inaccurate reproduction rests with the party that reproduced it.
3. Quotation and partial republication
Text content of the Site may be used by mass media, internet resources and print publications free of charge, for non-commercial purposes only, in an amount not exceeding one third of the item.
An active hyperlink to the Site's item as the original source is mandatory. The link must appear in the first or second sentence of the reproduced text.
Quotation must preserve the exact meaning of the item and indicate the publication date. Changing the headline in a way that distorts the meaning of the item is not permitted.
Using content in an amount exceeding one third, and reproducing content in full without the written permission of the Site owner, are prohibited.
4. Use in television and radio programmes
Mass media that use sound only, or sound and vision, must state the name of the Site in the first or second sentence of the item they transmit.
Where the Site's video or audio recordings are broadcast, the source must be named and the integrity of the segment preserved.
5. Material of partners and news agencies
Material from news agencies, partners and other original sources is published on the Site on the terms set by their rights holders. Other mass media and internet resources may use such material only with the written permission of the relevant rights holder.
Permission must be requested directly from the rights holder. The Site owner cannot grant such permission on the rights holder's behalf.
The same rule applies to material of third parties published on the Site with their consent.
6. Advertising and partner content
Items marked “Advertisement”, “Partner material” or “Material provided by” are published on a paid basis and belong to their rights holders.
Third parties may use such items only with the written consent of the rights holder. Responsibility for infringing rights in advertising and partner content rests with the party that used it.
Publishing such items does not affect editorial selection or the preparation of news.
7. Use of photographs, video and infographics
Rights in photographs, video and infographics belong to their authors or rights holders. Items credited to a source or bearing a copyright notice with the rights holder's name are protected by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and by international treaties.
Using such items in mass media, internet resources and other services, including as fragments and with a link to the Site, without the rights holder's permission is prohibited.
Photographs and video owned by the Site owner may be used by other resources only with a direct link to the Site and with the copyright notice and the author's name preserved. Adapting or distorting such items is not permitted.
If a photograph is published without a caption, authorship or other information about the rights holder, its use by other resources is not permitted, including with a link to the Site.
Illustrations created with the use of artificial intelligence technologies are labelled in accordance with the Editorial Standards.
8. Requests to use content
Requests for full or partial reproduction of content should be sent to info@example.com, stating the item, the manner of use and the purposes.
Reports of infringements of rights in the Site's content are accepted at the same address. A report should state the item, describe the infringement and identify the applicant. Enquiries are reviewed within 5 business days.
Where an infringement is identified, the Site owner may demand that use of the item stops and claim compensation for losses under the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
9. Liability
Any use of content in breach of these rules is unlawful and entails liability under the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Site owner is not liable for third-party infringement of rights in content published on the Site where the infringement results from those parties' actions.
These rules do not restrict the rights of users of the content established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including the right to quote for information, scientific, polemical and other purposes to the extent justified by the purpose of the quotation.
