A widened street and a new bridge were built for the convenience of city residents

Today, Akim of the region Murat Ergeshbayev inspected the progress of work on the development and modernization of road infrastructure within the city. The projects initiated by Nurlybek Mashbekuly are currently being phased into operation for the benefit of the population.
The head of the region first examined the progress of road repair works in the village of Tasboget. The project, implemented by the partnership «UAD», has a budget of 5.1 billion tenge, 4.4 kilometers of streets have been repaired, and Yesenov and Amangeldy streets are being widened to four lanes. Everything meets the requirements: pedestrian paths are being arranged, and water intake trays are being installed. New asphalt concrete will be laid, and a modern lighting system will be launched.
An important infrastructure facility connecting the «Bayterek» microdistrict and the city center is the new bridge over the southern main canal. The construction of the bridge is fully completed; its length is 53 meters, width is 7 meters, and it has two lanes. Full lighting has been provided, and comfortable conditions for traffic have been created. The construction was carried out by the partnership «Asanas-Dar».
The mobile laboratory of the National Center for the Quality of Road Assets conducted a special inspection of the bridge's strength and quality. The new bridge is very convenient for residents who have settled in the «Bayterek» microdistrict and ensures safe transport communication.
The head of the region, having inspected the reconstruction works on Sagymbayev Street from Toraygyrov Street to the «Kyzylorda-Kumkol» highway, noted that widening 2.174 kilometers to four lanes will allow for efficient traffic flow. As part of the project undertaken to regulate traffic intensity during peak hours and reduce congestion, pedestrian paths have been arranged and modern lighting poles have been installed. The partnership «Kyran» implemented a large-scale project for the development of the city's road and transport infrastructure, with 1 billion 592 million tenge allocated for its construction.
It should be noted that in 2022-2026, about 185.8 billion tenge has been allocated for the construction and major repair of 1,700 kilometers of highways and 35 bridge crossings in the region. As a result, the share of roads in good and satisfactory condition has increased from 82 to 95 percent.
