On Election Day in the Kurultai elections, Kazakhstanis will be able to obtain temporary registration for one day.
On August 23, the day of the Kurultai elections, citizens of Kazakhstan who do not have a permanent place-of-residence registration will be able to register temporarily for one day at the address of the polling station where they are located. The service will be provided by employees of Public Service Centers (PSCs).
More than 10,000 polling stations will operate across the country on Election Day. Employees of Public Service Centers will be present at 221 of them. They will register citizens at the address of the polling station, allowing them to exercise their right to vote and participate in the elections.
PSC employees will work at polling stations from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The temporary registration will be issued for one day only and exclusively for the purpose of participating in the vote. If the polling station is located in a school, college, university, or another institution, the citizen will be registered directly at the address of that facility.
The temporary registration will be automatically canceled the following day.
Citizens who already have a place-of-residence registration will vote at the polling station assigned to their registered address.
